Mid-May Summertime has finally arrived! Locals are opening their doors and preparing for The Rush, while tourists are flocking to stay in the many resorts. School is about to let out, and the fun is just beginning. Weather is pleasant, not hot but not at all the cool temperatures of Spring. There hasn't been a more perfect time to enjoy the scenery.	Welcome Welcome to Estes Park, Colorado, nestled right beside the wild beauty that makes up Rocky Mountain National Park. This little resort town is teeming with tourists during the summer, not taking a day of the brilliant sunlight and amazing weather for granted before entering the blissful slumber of winter. When the tourists arrive, it's the start of a crazy rush to cater to their needs and bring in as much income as possible. It's known as 'The Rush' by Estes's full-time residents, and it takes months of preperation, but is overwhelming every time. So who are you: a tacky tourist, eager to experience the beauty and tranquility offered here? Or maybe you're an Estes resident yourself, just trying to get by.
